    Note: Most positions are year-round except for select Head Start teaching and food services staff, who usually work August – June, depending on the assignment. All new hire candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment job-related physical examination (paid by CDR).

Head Start Open Positions

Candidates selected for positions in the Head Start Program will also be required to pass a pre-employment federal and state child abuse and criminal background clearance and TB test. Review the pertinent job description for driver’s license, auto, and insurance requirements. An agency application must be completed to be considered. 

Qualified current and former Head Start or Early Head Start parent applicants shall be considered for employment when filling a position primarily funded (greater than 50%) by the Head Start or Early Head Start Program.
