Jack Hinojosa
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Jack Hinojosa is the Chief Executive Officer of Child Development Resources (CDR). Jack has an extensive background in the administration of health care and early care and education programs and more than 32 years of experience working with children and families in Ventura County. He has a long and distinguished career and more than 22 years at CDR in various management and executive positions, including Program Operations Manager (Head Start), Associate Executive Director overseeing all Child Care Programs, including CalWORKs Stages 1, 2 and 3, General Alternative Payment Program, Family Child Care Home Education Network, and the Resource & Referral Program. He served as CDR’s first Chief Operations Officer (COO) for over 4 years before promoted to Chief Executive Officer (CEO)effective April 4, 2017. He also served as President and a Board member for the California Child Care Resource & Referral Network for 9 years, his term ending December 2015.
Prior to joining CDR, Jack had a long and distinguished career as an executive of more than twelve years with Clinicas del Camino Real, Inc.,a private non-profit corporation serving the medically indigent population of Ventura County.
Founded in 1980, CDR is a private non-profit corporation that receives County, State, and Federal government contracts and grants that fund the Head Start, Early Head Start, California State Preschool Program (CSPP), Subsidized Child Care Services, and Child Care Resource & Referral Program in Ventura County. CDR currently employs 379 individuals to work in its programs and support services. Teachers, cooks, eligibility specialists, financial staff, human resources staff, program managers and executives, and all staff are highly qualified people with a passion for children, and a belief in CDR’s mission and core values.
