cdrvad1ez2025-02-14T14:16:48-08:00August Dear Parent/Provider The budget act of 2017 (Assembly Bill 99, Chapter 15, Statutes of 2017) amended California Education Code (EC) sections 8263 and 8263.1, among other sections which resulted in the revision to State Median Income and the need to revise the Family Fee Schedule. In accordance with existing EC, families will continue to be assessed a flat monthly fee based on hours of care certified for the month, income and family size. Families with a certified need of less than 130 hours per month will be assessed a flat part-time fee while a certified need of 130 hours
Changes in the Reinbursement Ceilings
cdrvad1ez2025-02-14T14:17:14-08:00December 2017 Attention Providers, This letter is to inform you of recent changes to state laws governing the Regional Market Rate (RMR) ceilings. Beginning January 1, 2018, per the Budget Act of 2017 the California Department of Education will increase the Regional Market Rate (RMR) ceilings. A copy of the revised RMR ceilings will be posted on the web at: http://www3.cde.ca.gov/rcscc and will become effective January 1, 2018. RMR ceilings are used when determining the maximum amount of reimbursement authorized to a provider for a child’s care. Child Development Resources (CDR) will use the revised RMR ceilings starting with the January
